Sierra Hull is one of the leading mandolin players of her (or any) generation and one of the most exciting singers and songwriters to come out of the American string band tradition.
About Sierra Hull
Since signing for Rounder Records at the age of 13, Sierra has released a string of acclaimed solo albums, including Weighted Mind, 25 Trips and four time Grammy nominated A Tiptoe High Wire. She’s collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Alison Krauss, Béla Fleck, Dolly Parton, Brandi Carlile, Cory Wong and Billy Strings.
In 2018 she formed the band First Ladies of Bluegrass – with banjo player Alison Brown, fiddler Becky Buller, bass player Missy Raines, and guitarist Molly Tuttle – with each member having been the first woman to win their respective instrumental category at the IBMA Music Awards.
