Bluegrass Jam Along started out as a podcast for backing tracks. But, after a few months, I started adding interviews into the mix.
Since then I’ve been lucky to have the chance to interview lots of wonderful people from in and around the world of bluegrass, from legends like Tony Trischka and Bryan Sutton, to young up and coming players like Jake Eddy (who was my very first interview on the podcast).
With so many episodes on the podcast now, finding just the interviews can be tricky, so here’s a list of them to help you find any you might have missed!
Bob Minner (Norman Blake tribute record)
Chris Pandolfi (Infamous Stringdusters)
Emma John (Wayfaring Stranger book)
Harry Clark (East Nash Grass/Dan Tyminski)
Josh Turknett (Laws of Brainjo)
Kristina R. Gaddy (“Well of Souls: Uncovering the Banjo’s Hidden History”)
Marcel Ardans (lessons with Marcel)
Marcel Ardans (Lessons With Marcel) on Billy Strings, Trey Hensley, Molly Tuttle and Tony Rice
Paul Kowert (Hawktail/PunchBrothers)
Scott Nygaard (Peghead Nation)
Steve Nall (Nully) from Collings guitars
Tonewoods Special with Nully from Collings Guitars
Tony Rice Birthday Tribute (Chris Eldridge, Mike Marshall, Happy Traum & Marcel Ardans)
If you’re only interested in the interviews (and don’t want the jam along tracks), you can get the Bluegrass Jam Along interviews on Spotify as a separate podcast.
